So, about Tim's new job.... Starting Monday he'll be a suit! This past Monday he said goodbye to his construction job of 14-odd years, so this is a huge change. He'll be working normal business hours for a Fortune 500 company, which means no more weekends, better pay and crazy awesome benefits.
It's life changing on so many levels, one being now we'll be getting ready for work at the same time (Tim typically rises at 5 a.m. with no problem and is very chipper; I'm a grump until 9 a.m.-ish and at least one cup of coffee). We're also experimenting with sharing a car (his truck was a company vehicle). In theory, this is a great way to spend time together and save even more money (boy, those plane tickets to Ethiopia aren't cheap), but I just hope we don't kill each other in the process. haha
No baby news. Well, my MIL did give us some really cute baby clothes recently so I guess that's baby news. I can't stop staring at the adorable overalls. Oh, and I bought a Buddha statue for the nursery, but that's about it. Next weekend we're going with another couple to a huge discount book fair, and I hope to buy some good kids' books.
In other news, my dear sweet mother gifted us central air conditioning. Myself and each of my brothers received money for something that we'd never splurge on for ourselves. I can't wait! I mean, it was 90 degrees yesterday and my house was hot as an oven. And her lovely gift couldn't have come at a better time since one of our A/C units crapped out a few weeks ago! - Sarah

Congrats to the new JOB!! Ohhhh I love baby shopping latley, I hope you got loads of good books...you can never have enough!
Sooooo....what are your thoughts on this ever expanding wait? Every monday when the weekly updates come out I get REALLY excited, only to let out a big frusterated ***SIGH****. We are both going on 15months worth of a wait if this keeps up! Some days it's easy to occupy the mind, other days not so much.
AGAIN YEAH FOR YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR GREAT NEWS LATLEY!

Hi,
We are a family of five from NH and waiting for our baby girl from Ethiopia. We have been waiting since end of May. I am getting exited every week. It seems that things are starting to move again after the court being closed for so long. Hopefully we'll the good news soon.
