So as you know by now we're updating our homestudy since it's only good for a year. We've done our fingerprints at the local police station, sent off background check forms and handed over our latest financial statements. We both still have to get new physicals. And on Wednesday we completed the last component to the homestudy update: another in-home visit.
I didn't really expect it to be in-home, but whatever. Our social worker just chatted with us and toured the house again. I was MUCH more relaxed this time around, however, there were some embarrassing points. First, she was supposed to come at 5:15. At 5:05 I pulled up next to the house and she pulled in right behind me. Thankfully she motioned for me to go inside so I could brush my teeth and try not to look like a crazed person. Then, when she was touring the house and walked toward Tim's office, which is where the cat box is now, I could tell Milton had just left a present. ARGH! How mortifying!!!!
Our social worker is super cool, so no worries, but still. - Sarah

haha silly CAT! Figures right. I can't believe you have to do all of that stuff.....Does it feel like a lot or is it pretty simple? You seem stress free about it! Thats great! Hooray that you guys are getting this al done!
