The New York Times ran a story about the rise of adoptions by Americans in Ethiopia today. Check it out if you're curious. It highlights many of the reasons why we chose Ethiopia (a chance to meet the birth family and caring orphanages) as well as some of the concerns we have (so many agencies and waiting parents means our timeline could be pushed back).
